- Home detention for precursor offendingSentenced almost twenty years after the verdict, under today's law: home detention, not prison.

In the Courts
- A discharge without conviction for assaultA group assault and a previous conviction, but a trade career a conviction would have put at risk.
- Murder charges dismissed at trialTwo of five men charged with murder. Neither murder charge reached the jury, and neither ended in a conviction.
- Acquitted by the jury of sexual violationTwo charges of sexual violation and two of indecent assault. Not guilty on all four.
- Home detention for importing methamphetamineImporting 508 grams of methamphetamine, with a firearm. A lesser role and real rehabilitation meant a sentence served at home.
