She graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in 2025 with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies, and holds a New Zealand Diploma in Te Reo (Rumaki) Level 5 from Te Wānanga Ihorangi. Anna received an award from the New Zealand Council of Civil Liberties for a research essay on incarcerated peoples’ rights to dignity and privacy. Her honours dissertation developed a framework of 'constitutional disobedience' in the context of breaches of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Anna holds intermediate fluency in te reo Māori and is committed to seeing Te Tiriti o Waitangi honoured in public life in Aotearoa. She will take up a clerkship at the High Court after being admitted in late 2026. Anna is innovative, diligent, and resolute in her approach, and has a strong passion for restorative outcomes.
